TOPIT started with a simple observation at our brother store, Rooster Bus, a men’s clothing shop in Scottsdale. Owner Mark realized the store was selling about 10,000 hats a year—and that customers were looking for something beyond the usual wall of sports hats.
He saw the chance to build something nobody else had: a shop devoted to hats with character. Western, surf, workwear, novelty, local Arizona styles, and the hard-to-find pieces that help people show up as themselves.
From Rooster Bus to the One Stop Hat Shop.
Mark’s idea became TOPIT: a hat shop that is not built around sports teams, but around personal style. The goal was to create the One Stop Hat Shop—a place where anyone could find the right shape, brand, story, or attitude under one roof.
Today, our Scottsdale flagship brings that idea to life in person, while TopitOnline.com is growing into the online Hat Authority. Wherever you shop with us, our mission is the same: make finding your next favorite hat easy.
